Last weekend I and my mechanic traveled together to Germany for first round of national race. Track was held in Landshut near to private airport. Club La speed way made just before race new fresh dirt and pack in pretty hard. But they didnâ™t water it often so we know that track will be very bumpy.

On Friday after 2 rounds there was very big holes and it was pretty difficult to drive on it. But it make me remember old school track, some years ago we had every race like this so it wasnâ™t something very special. I was the fastest racer since first practice. On Friday I play only with small details on my cars because my basic set-up was very good.
On Saturday we had 5 rounds of qualification. I TQ 4 of 5 rounds. Everything was very smooth and I felt very comfortable on track.
On Sunday we have semifinal and finals runs. In my semifinal I had bad tire choice. It was much cooler on Sunday. We have to wear winter jacket! So for final I went softer on shock choice softer compound and my speed was back. I start from P4 but went back to lead after half lap and lead until end.
Car, engine and tires felt very good! After race we stay in Germany because next round is this weekend. So we have 4 days of practice there in Germany.
